Inventing a shared Science Diplomacy for Europe: First Open Conference | Pre-registration form Krakow, Poland, Friday 18 – Sunday 20 January 2019

The coordinator of the InsSciDE project, Pascal Griset (Sorbonne Université), together with InsSciDE’s lead researchers and the European Academy of Diplomacy (EAD) are very pleased by your interest in the project’s First Open Conference.

The conference will provide a unique space for cross-sectoral dialogue and new networks between science diplomacy researchers, experts and practitioners.

The major event will be held jointly with the Academy of Young Diplomats’ annual training conference, creating encounters between career and training level diplomats from over 50 countries.

Following opening addresses on the first day, the second day will include plenary and break-out sessions exploring pressing issues and challenges relating to European migration, and the solutions and insights offered by science and diplomacy.

The final day will include smaller, intensive round tables exploring the InsSciDE project’s thematic areas of research: Heritage, Health, Security, Environment and Space.

The individual registration cost will be between 50 and 100 euros (to be finalised in December). This fee will cover registration, materials, breaks and a buffet lunch on Saturday 19 January.

A list of hotels will be provided to registrants.
